From Pain to Empowered – A Deeper Look Into True Healing
The Essence of
“Whol-istic”
Have you ever heard someone refer to a “wholistic” approach and wondered why there’s a W, not an H? You’re not alone! The term “wholistic” is often used interchangeably with “holistic,” but it carries a particular connotation that emphasizes the WHOLE person.In a wholistic (“holistic”) framework – physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects are considered inseparable and intertwined.
Healing is NOT a Quick Fix;
It is a Journey…
So for us, the spelling is not just a quirk; it’s a way to underscore the comprehensive nature of certain practices, like chiropractic care, that aim to treat individuals as complete beings rather than just a collection of symptoms. We want to explain what it means to us at Murphy Healing Arts, and why we prefer using it the way that we do.
This spelling choice using “W” serves as a reminder: health is a comprehensive system that cannot effectively be broken down into isolated elements. By treating the whole person
WHOL-istically in chiropractic care, the patient experiences restored balance overall and their well-being is significantly improved.
